Where's Waldo?

Waldo is a tireless wanderer, and in this first book of his adventures he roams a series of crowded, busy scenes, from a sandy beach to a mountain slope, a bustling city street to a county fair. Each double-page spread is packed with tiny figures, and somewhere among them is Waldo himself, easy to miss and hard to pin down.

Waldo is also careless with his things. Everywhere he stops, he leaves belongings behind, so readers have more than one search on their hands: first find the traveler, then track down what he has lost along the way.

This is the book that started the worldwide hunt for Waldo, and it works as a game as much as a story. Readers can linger over every page, scanning the crowds and spotting small jokes in the corners. This edition has a refreshed cover and two additional pages of games and searches.
