Whispers

Whispers is a poetry collection by Blair Mathews, who has also published two other poetry books: Remembering, illustrated by Truman Lowe, and Seasoned, written with the poet Donna Carnes and illustrated by Laura Bouffiou Jacobson, Steve Landfried and Kent Mathews. This book features illustrations in the Zen Ink style by calligrapher Kimmy Tran.

Mathews's poems often draw out links and contrasts in the natural world. He teaches tai chi chuan and is drawn to the yin and yang idea that opposing forces depend on one another.
