Wild One

Amanda Brooks grew up in New York City, and from the outside her life seems to have everything. Beneath it sits a secret she has carried for more than ten years, rooted in a summer at Camp Catalpa when a man died in the woods. Catherine and Meg were at the camp that season as well, and none of the three has spoken about what happened there since.

Then Amanda makes a slip, and the truth threatens to crack the carefully controlled life she has built. As her past begins to seep into her present, she has nowhere to turn but to Catherine and Meg, the only two people who have seen the side of her she has worked hardest to hide. The three come together one final time, with Amanda determined to bury what that summer left behind. But trust among them is starting to feel like a gamble, and the question becomes how far each of them will go to keep the truth hidden and their own lives intact.
