Winter Solstice

The Quinn family is gathering at the Winter Street Inn for the holidays, and for the first time in a long while every member will be under the same roof. Bart is home from Afghanistan, which makes this season feel especially meaningful.

Kevin has settled comfortably into married life with his wife, Isabelle. Patrick is finally rebuilding his footing after paying his debt to society. Ava believes she may have found the love she has been searching for, and Kelly is delighted to see his whole family back together.

As with any Quinn gathering, the festivities are unlikely to go off without a hitch. The novel looks at the pleasures of the holiday season alongside its more trying moments, with a festive tone throughout.
