Wise Child

Wise Child is only nine when her parents both leave her behind. She is taken in by Juniper, a woman who lives apart from the villagers and knows the uses of plants. Under Juniper's guidance, Wise Child begins to learn the craft of herbal remedies and the older, quieter side of magic.
