Wise Gals

The book follows the women who worked for the Office of Strategic Services during the Second World War and who later helped shape the early Central Intelligence Agency, which grew out of that wartime organization. It covers the contributions of these women as agents and support staff across the period in which the OSS became the foundation of American foreign intelligence work.
