Witch's Throne

Adapted from a popular webcomic on Tapas, this graphic novel mixes fantasy with comedy, manga-inspired art, and the spirit of role-playing game adventures. Every decade, contenders compete for a throne, and the victors become the four chosen heroes fated to defeat the Witch who endangers the land. The cast includes a warrior, a rogue, a saint, and an alchemist whose arms are made of bone.

Agni, a cheerful young alchemist, has long dreamed of joining the heroes who will confront the Witch. She is sure that saving the world will be straightforward and that she will make a few friends along the way. As she sets out, she discovers that real life does not follow the pattern of the stories she grew up with, and that the road to heroism may demand a heavy price.
