Yesterday’s Ghosts

Three decades ago, a team of spies known as Black Team was disbanded after a disastrous war in Sri Lanka. Its members have not seen one another since. Before going their separate ways, they agreed to lock away a secret that was born in the middle of the conflict, and to never speak of it again.

Now the four men are in their fifties and sixties, and they have built lives far from the place where everything went wrong. None of them wants to go back. Then each receives a mysterious message written in a code they once knew well, a code that should not exist any more.

The secret they buried has found its way home. Yesterday's Ghosts is a story about what happens when the past refuses to stay hidden, from the author of Cold Truth.
