You Again

Kate Cormier once believed she and Sutton Guidry would be together for good, until a single poor decision ended their relationship. Since then Kate has raised her daughter and built a steady life, and the dreams she once had rarely cross her mind. Then Sutton reappears as though nothing ever happened, looking more striking than ever.

For ten years Sutton has stayed away from the town where she grew up. Her career has flourished, yet the life that comes with it feels empty. When her father needs surgery, she returns to look after him during his recovery, hoping to finally confront the memories of her first love and the one who broke her heart. But much of her old life is still waiting there, Kate included, and the idea of trying again keeps creeping back in.

Can the two of them piece together what they once had without falling apart a second time? The novel runs to about 88,000 words.
