Basic classes of linear operators

Written as a university textbook for advanced undergraduates and graduate students, it opens with the geometry of Hilbert spaces before moving on to operators acting on those spaces and on Banach spaces.

This edition is a reworked and expanded version of an earlier text, Basic Operator Theory, written by I. Gohberg and S. Goldberg.
