Tampered

It wasn't every day you found fingers poking up from the ground. Especially while supervising a bunch of tweenagers. But that was just Rylie's luck. Ever since she'd become a park ranger, bodies seemed to show up all over the place-on a trail, in a catfish trap, on a frozen beach. Now, they came from below. Like zombies. And it wasn't even Halloween. A new clue in a cold case should have gotten the police interested, if not downright excited. But when the police take over, they seem to want to keep the case cold. As does one of the murder suspects. It's up to Rylie to find the truth . . . even if she has to risk her job and freedom to do so. When everyone seems to be against her, she has a decision to make. Is investigating a murder worth going to jail for? Fans of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series and Meg Cabot's Heather Wells Mysteries will love Tampered, the fourth book in the Rylie Cooper Mystery Series.
